Thanks for your interest in my design. I love deigning animals and love anything native American, hence this is the second blanket I’ve created with this theme. This pattern is in US terms using overlay mosaic crochet, in one size. You cut the yarn and alternate the colours with each row. The ends will be hidden with an envelope border which is in a separate PDF.
IN ENGLISH ONLY.
The download includes the full WRITTEN PATTERN and CHARTS, in separate PDFs, please check your library.
Plus you get a free Bear strip pattern that was designed after the pattern was released!
The pattern is based on repeating the written instructions 3 times which will be stated. If you want a different number of repeats, then adjust accordingly. I have noted when I’ve changed colour for your reference, you don’t have to change colours at all but obviously you need 2 contrasting colours. If you’re new overlay to mosaic crochet, then look in the files section in my group. The charts are in a separate PDF.
Needed
I used Double knit yarn from my stash, it’s a great stash buster! you can do this blanket in any thickness yarn. If the yarn in thinner the blanket will be smaller, if the yarn is thicker, it’ll be larger.
Size 4 hook, for the main pattern. Scissors.
Finished Measurements with DK yarn without the border is 116cm wide 45inches by 125cm49inches.
No written reviews yet. Be the first!
Welcome!
I create overlay mosaic crochet patterns, I love how creative I can be with just single and double crochet stitches.
I create simple to more complex patterns such as center out techniques, there’s pictorial help and video links in the downloads.
You might notice that all of my patterns have the words spirit or flow in the names, this is my dedication to my late father who was a drummer in a number of bands in the 80’s called “With the Flow” and “Kindled Spirit” and I chose to put those words into my pattern names.
Thank you for your support!
